Registered Nurse / RN / Work Life Balance Occupational Health Clinic / OHN / 40 hours /week Temporary assignment for 6 months plus Monrovia, CA
Job Description Advanced Practice Solutions is a healthcare employment agency that provides healthcare professionals with exceptional opportunities across the U.S. We are hiring a Registered Nurse to work the full time hours of M,W,TH,F 7:30am-4pm and Tuesday from 5:00am -1:30pm. There is flexibility on the day of the week that you work from 5am-1:30. This temporary position is for 6 months plus. There will be the opportunity for extensive training with the person who is going to be out on leave and this assignment will start Jan 5th. This manufacturing plant is a global company that produces innovative world changing technology. Job Summary: The primary responsibility is to support disease prevention and control measures to ensure the health and safety of the workforce and enable business continuity. Duties include:
Leading education of the workforce
Disability case management
Coordinating supplies for the location
Verification and reporting of confirmed case
Initiating contact tracing and monitoring of close contacts
Facilitating workforce communications
Assist employees with occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses
Conducting preplacement medical evaluations
Work with Supervisors and Human Resources to assist employees in the return-to-work process
Provide support for group health promotion activities
Maintain recordkeeping and medical confidentiality
Qualifications: Clear California License, Bachelor s Degree, Strong computer and communication skills. Disability and case management is a huge bonus and excellent communication skills are a must for this position. At least 2 years of experience required with a background in Occupational Health, Urgent Care, ER or public health.
