Occupational Health Clinic / Full time 40 hours a week Eden Prairie, MN Job Description Advanced Practice Solutions is a healthcare employment agency that provides healthcare professionals with exceptional opportunities across the U.S. We are seeking a Registered Nurse- RN to work 40 hours a week with full benefits as an Advanced Practice Solutions employee at an Occupational Healthcare Clinic in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This temporary assignment is long term with no end date. The person hired for the position will support and drive employee health related activities at the site. This plant is a manufacturing facility with approximately 200 employees. The plant is located in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This plant produces medical products and is part of a global company that produces innovative world changing technology. A Registered Nurse RN with at least two years of clinical experience is required for this position in Occupational Health, public health, ER or an urgent care setting. Primary Responsibilities are to promote health and well-being of employees through onsite services and programs, implementing population-based programs to manage or improve health and safety.:
Registered nurse will work 40 hrs./week
Disability Claims Short Term Disability Workers comp and FMLA
Flexible to go in early one day a week and start later one day a week
Provides direct care of worker illness/injury
Plans and implements required or recommended medical surveillance programs and fitness for duty evaluations according to protocols
Completes pre-placement medical evaluations for candidates with a conditional job offer
Supports first aid team in medical emergencies and trains them on first aid protocols
Communicates with EHS regarding work-related illness/injury
Maintains medical records according to company standards while preserving confidentiality
Facilitates and manages safe and appropriate return to work for ill/injured workers
Support the health & productivity initiatives for the site
Job Requirements Registered Nurse must have a minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an outpatient clinic setting, public health, urgent care, ER or occupational health. RN must be a self-starter and adaptable to change; always remain part of the solution with strong critical thinking skills. Bachelor s degree required Compact Licensure a huge plus Minnesota Licensure (must have a clear MN License) CAOHC certification is a plus but not required because free certification training is available Electronic Medical Record Experience Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Excellent computer skills with an intermediate skill level in the Microsoft package
Compensation
$50.00/hr DOQ compensation
