Job Description
We are seeking Registered Nurse to work a long term temporary assignment on the evening weekend shift from 3:15pm-11:15 pm on Saturday and Sunday and also pick up Tuesday and Thursday evening shift from 3:15-11:15pm as an Advanced Practice Solutions employee at a correctional facility in Chaska MN.
Job Functions (Duties/Responsibilities):
- Comfortable working as a RN in a correctional environment providing clinical services to inmates
- Review intake health questionnaires on newly incarcerated inmates
- Review medical request slips daily
- Identify potential health issues and facilitates medical screenings
- Coordinate and administer medications and treatments to inmates
- Monitor changes in the inmates emotional or physical conditions
- Maintain all medical records
- Participate in unit and public health dept wide meetings and training
Need to have:
Clear MN License
