1. Provide appropriate assessment of patient s health, ranging from focused too comprehensive.
2. Obtain patient health history from patient or guardian and review pertinent health records.
3. Perform patient examination.
4. Order pertinent diagnostic tests and procedures.
5. Interprets health information and establishes diagnoses consistent with the accumulated data.
6. Formulates treatment plan.
7. Orders necessary medications and conservative therapies.
8. Provide education and support to operative and non-operative patients.
9. Makes health record entries into electronic medical record and dictates according to standards.
10. Work closely with physician and nurse to provide comprehensive care.
11. Assist the physician as needed during clinic and provide appropriate care to patients.
12. Completes as necessary with related office work:
    1. Coding
    2. Patient form completion
    3. Correspondence
13. Maintains current knowledge in the field of practice.
14. Acts as a resource for nurse clinicians.
15. Performs related work as assigned.

Family Nurse Practitioner / FNP must have a minimum of one year of experience in Primary care
